Change The Look Of Your Cell Phone With A Cell Phone Cover
You change your outfits and jewelry every day based on your mood and event so why not do the same for your cell phone? With a new cover, you can spruce up your boring old without having to buy a completely new one. If you are not technologically savvy and up on all the accessories for cell phones, you should know that in most circles, a cover and faceplate is pretty much the same thing.
Defining these Covers
The term "cell phone cover" sounds like something you would wrap around your phone to cover or protect it from harm. However, this cover is actually a part of the housing, the hard plastic (or in some cases metal) casing that surrounds the inner workings of the phone. When you change the cover, you are essentially giving it a new wardrobe as it will look totally different than it did before.
Each cover or faceplate is not a one size fits all because every brand and model of phone is different and therefore has different sizes and styles. You have to match your new cover with not only the right brand of phone but also the right style or model number. Obviously, your that flips up will have a different cover than one that is a standard non-flip phone.
Another thing of note regarding the cover is that some phones do require professional installation because to change the look, the phone has to be taken completely apart. However, these days, some cell phones have depressible buttons which allow you to take off the original cover and replace with a more stylish one.
An Extension of the Wardrobe
The possibilities are virtually endless when it comes to the cover and the designs and colors you can find. How would you like shocking neon yellow that glows in the dark or even show pride in your country with patriotic red, white and blue? Futuristic brushed metal colors like silver and bronze are popular just as much as cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
Metal, hard plastic and even rubberized materials are used for covers and may also play a part in what style you choose. If you are totally into coordinating your outfits, shoes and accessories like hair ribbons, socks and jewelry, then you are likely going to find a cover for your phone just another extension of your wardrobe.
