Tattoo Ideas For Professionals

Even professionals like to get tattoos. Tattoos make a person unique, it allows one to express him or herself and it’s a very liberating experience when you get one. People of all walks of life get tattoos. However, for professionals the rules are different. Professionals have to worry about their appearance. Someone in sales, for example, can’t get a tattoo on their neck and expect to find work. An employer is more likely to hire someone without tattoos than someone with tattoos. Therefore, a professional should take advantage of some tattoo ideas that will keep them gainfully employed while still allowing that person to express him or herself.

Back Tattoos

Getting a back tattoo will still allow you to wear dress shirts and suits and nobody will be the wiser about the fact that you have a tattoo. Some cool back tattoo ideas are suns, stars, animals, crosses or any tribal design. Some women like to get tribal bands on their lower backs. And some guys like to get tattoos in the upper corners of their backs. Of course your tattoo idea is completely up to you. You could even use the tattoo idea of getting a tattoo that covers your entire back and nobody will know unless you show them. Make sure, though, that whatever tattoo idea you use for your back, you don’t get anything on your neck as they may be viewable even while wearing a dress shirt.

Arms

Another tattoo idea is to get a tattoo on your shoulder. Crosses, suns, stars, and other designs are very popular amongst men especially. Anything can go on the shoulder and it won’t be seen even while wearing short sleeves. However, make sure you measure where your short sleeved shirts end on your arm so that your tattoo idea doesn’t go beyond that. And don’t get sleeves. Sleeves are where your entire arm is covered with tattoos as if you were wearing a sleeve of some sort. This is no good for the professional world and many employers won’t give you a second look if you have one of those on your arm. So use any tattoo idea for your arm as long as it can be covered with a short sleeved shirt.

Off The Wall

You are free to use whatever tattoo idea you come up with. However, many people go into the tattoo parlor and begin choosing designs off the walls. You should know that when you do this, you run the risk of getting a tattoo that someone else has. So if you want to be unique, don’t choose off the wall but instead come up with your own tattoo idea. Get someone to draw a design for you or come up with one on your own.
